The products we often see on the market are 304 and 316 stainless steel wire mesh. These two products have very good cost performance and corrosion resistance, long service life, strong tensile and shear resistance, and are very good protection products. In particular, 316 stainless steel wire has very good chloride corrosion resistance, so it is usually used in the marine environment. 316 stainless steel wire has good oxidation resistance in intermittent use below 1600 ℃ and continuous use below 1700 ℃. In the range of 800-1575 degrees, do not continuously act on 316 stainless steel wire, but when 316 stainless steel wire is continuously used outside this temperature range, the stainless steel has good heat resistance.

316 stainless steel has good welding performance. All standard welding methods can be used for welding. 316Cb, 316L or 309Cb stainless steel filler rods or electrodes can be used for welding according to the purpose. In order to obtain corrosion resistance, the welding section of 316 stainless steel needs post welding annealing treatment. If 316L stainless steel is used, post weld annealing is not required.

In addition to the above two types of stainless steel wire, there are 317 stainless steel wire and 310 stainless steel wire. 317 stainless steel wire and 316 stainless steel wire are both molybdenum containing stainless steel wire, and the molybdenum content of 317 stainless steel wire is higher than that of 316 stainless steel wire. The performance of stainless steel wire containing molybdenum is better than that of 310 and 304 stainless steel wires, especially at high temperature, when the concentration of sulfuric acid is lower than 15% and higher than 85%, its performance is much better and its use is more extensive.
